STEP 1: OPEN & AGENDA (3 minutes)

Greeting:

"Hi client, this is Matalya. Thanks for booking this call to talk about Decide From Here."

Agenda:

"Here's what I'd like to accomplish in the next 30 minutes. I want to understand what's going on with your team, where decisions get stuck or slow down. Then I'll share how the session works, and if it feels like a fit, we'll talk about next steps. Sound good?"

Budget Authority (Early, Critical):

"Just so I understand the process on your end — is booking something like this within your own budget, or is this something you'd bring to someone else to sign off on?"

STEP 2: UNDERSTAND THEIR SITUATION (10 minutes)

Primary Question:

Follow-Ups (Pick 1–2, based on their answer):

Listening For:

  • Their exact words describing the problem

  • Whether this is a "nice to have" or a genuine pain point

  • Who else is involved in the decision

STEP 3: ANCHOR THE VALUE (5 minutes)

Reflect Back:

"What I'm hearing is your team has [X] in place, but [Y] keeps getting in the way. And what you actually want is [Z]. Is that right?"

Surface the "Why Now":

"What's changed recently that brought this to the top of your priority list?"

If This Were Solved:

"If this were resolved — if your team was making decisions clearly and quickly six months from now — what would that actually look like day to day?"


STEP 4: PRESENT THE OFFER (5 minutes)

Transition:

"At this point, I'd love to walk you through how this actually works."

The Solution:

Then stop talking. Let them sit with it.


If They Hesitate:

(A clear yes = budget process. Hesitation = fit still in question.)
