The Power of NO! 4 Week Small Group Coaching Program: A key way we can take better care of ourselves is to set boundaries and say "NO" to others (and thereby saying YES to ourselves).
In case these are some thoughts or concerns you're having already, I'm sharing some Saying NO! Thoughts for you to consider before our intro call:
Managing the GUILT: As you learn to say NO more, you'll probably feel more guilt! Assuming it's not genuine guilt that requires remedial action from you - CONGRATULATIONS! This guilt will be a sign that you're making important, positive change in your life.
Press PAUSE and Evaluate EACH Situation: As most things in life, there is no one size fits all answer. Everything depends on the relative importance of the situation, the people affected, what's going on in your life at the time, the person asking, your history with them, etc.
Changing GRADUALLY is just fine: If, in the past you have been a YES person, you may want to gradually become a person who says NO. Take your time and practice on small things, working up to larger NO's.
SOFTEN the Blow: If you do decide to go "all out" with your NO's, remember that others may find this a bit of a shock! It may help (although it's by no means necessary), to find your own way to soften it for them.
PRACTICING: Try imagining you're someone who is already comfortable saying NO, and mentally rehearse difficult situations. You can also role-play with someone you trust (aka that's the reason this is a small group session provided in the safe environment I establish for you, as your coach).
FEELING GOOD: When NO is the right answer for YOU, say it pleasantly, assertively and with conviction. If it leaves you feeling stronger and good in yourself (even if there is some guilt) then you've made the right choice for you!

Especially good for:
People who would like more time for themselves and their needs - or who would like to be more assertive;
Establish some common boundaries in a safe friendly environment. Perfect for any age; parents and adult/adolescent children; extended family members; work teams; groups of friends.
This program is delivered in small groups (minimum 3 and up to 4 attendees) as brainstorming the content we will explore lets each of us see the similarities we all have in relation to saying "NO"!
Working as a group will help you to deepen your conviction, whilst having some fun, together as you practice saying "NO"!
Description and Purpose of Program:
This is such an important topic for all of us, it is something we rarely get taught how to do so that we feel comfortable and assertive when "NO" is the right answer.
Together with required reading of The Power of TED*, this Power of NO! mini-program is one of the core units in every Personal Coaching Package I deliver.
The Power of NO! program includes 7 Sections, each with progressive Worksheets I will send to you as links via email and will safely saved inside your confidential private coaching dashboard.
These worksheets will either be completed within a scheduled One-Hour Group Session or as Homework between sessions. You will also be provided with helpful tips and tools I will send you as we move through the Sections.
You will continue to be stressed and overwhelmed - and your goals and priorities will suffer - until you learn to say "NO!".
The Power to Say NO! coaching program and the worksheets will help you understand in depth where you need to say "NO", how your beliefs get in the way and to get clear on why you need to say "NO".
How it Works:
Over a period of 4-Sessions, together we will work through the 7 sections as follows:
Week 1, Group Session 1 will include Sections 1 to 3 where we will brainstorm and capture your current beliefs about saying "NO".
Week 2, Homework:Sections 4 and 5 will be sent to you as Worksheets to complete alone between Group Sessions 1 and 2. These sections include personal reflection and practices giving yourself time to think what is most important to you.
Week 3, Group Session 2 will include Section 6, a brainstorming exercise as a group before you complete the workbook individually.
Week 4, Final Group Session 3 where finally we will have some fun, enjoying the experience of practicing how to say "NO". Doing so within this safe space we have co-created together and brainstorm some ideas you have come up with throughout the previous sections to share with each other.
As we close out Group Session 3, and if there is time, you will complete the "Taking Action" Worksheet, or I will send that Worksheet to you as Homework to complete at home with an Action By date, using the Tips and Tools I provide to support you.
A Few Reasons to Consider When Choosing Me for Coaching, because engaging a coach, is far more than a 1-hour conversation each week:
Coaching is always delivered personally by me, a professionally trained coach. I am also a certified facilitator in The 3 Vital Questions and TED*, both of which support this work at a deeper level. My combination of skills, experience, interest and passion are interwoven to help my clients get the results they want and make life changes they'd never thought were possible!
You will receive time-zone appointment reminders with the necessary details to make it easy to prepare and connect.
You will complete the Session Prep Form in the appointment reminder and submit it back to me 24-hours prior to the coaching session.
I review those answers submitted on the Session Prep Form before each session to prepare myself to address anything that has arisen in the coming session.
I record the session (with your permission) so you don't have to scribble notes the whole time (and we don't lose any gems either of us said when we are in the zone).
I will store notes, thoughts, and observations from the session in a secure, confidential client dashboard so we both can use these to inform the ongoing support you need.
